LIGEIA is currently open to submissions from December 1 to December 15.
Send all submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org as an attachment (doc, docx, rtf, txt, or jpg).
Simultaneous submissions are fine. Let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. We don't accept previously published work.
Please submit to only one category at a time.
Include a third-person bio of up to 50 words in the body of the email.
Use the following as an email subject line template:
Category - Author Name
example: Fiction - Jane Doe
|Send fiction up to 2,000 words. Multiple flash pieces in a single file are fine, but please ensure they don't exceed 2,000 words combined. Our tastes are eclectic—we enjoy literary and genre fiction in equal measure. We recommend reading past issues to familiarize yourself with the work we like to publish.
|Send 1-5 poems together in a single document. We're looking for descriptive, immersive works—with a touch of strange to them.
|Send nonfiction up to 2000 words as an attachment. We accept creative nonfiction and reviews.
|Please send art as a .jpg, .jpeg, or .png. A bio does not need to be included.
LIGEIA acquires first electronic rights and the non-exclusive right to include your work in our archives. Upon publication, rights revert to the author. Unfortunately, we are unable to pay contributors at this time. In the future, if your work appears in other publications, we ask that you credit LIGEIA as the original publisher.
